A Moment in a Day

I pause for a moment in a busy day
To think of all the little things God sends our way

Spring sprouting all about with freshness
so green
Everything seems to sparkle with a newness
supreme.
Summer, blooming everywhere
All the beautiful colors and more to spare.

Delicate flowers and little creatures too
Scampering here and there for me and you.

Fall, a season where everything seems to give
up its life
Even more beautiful than the season before.
Colors changing to the stinging frost bite
Makes me think of one who gave up even more.

His life, for you and me He gave
So we might be saved!

Winter's coming on
Flakes of white covering every form
Glistening crystal-like prisms, making it a beauty
to behold.
To every living thing the story should be told
Of a Saviour who gave His all
For everything big or small.

Red and blue birds' tiny feet
Perched on a limb, making it a ring seat
To view every little flake that might blow
On a seed of wheat, covering it with snow.

Even the little things God provides for
Nuts, grains, seeds for them to store.
Life He gives you and me
The seasons with there beauty, for all to see.

Take a few minutes each day
To view the little things God sends our way.
