Thanksgiving is a time friends and family
gather to share
A bountiful meal and the offering of a
special Thanksgiving prayer.
As we gather around the table spread with
holiday cheer
May we remember He who gives the blessings
and the reason we are here.

Give thanks for the things taken for
granted such as the very air we breathe
The gentle rain, beautiful rainbow, and
other wonderful things we enjoy for free.
Let us give thanks for the blessings that
all around us be
Including also the many ones we are not able
to see.

Give thanks for each friend and member of
of our family
That the love for others can be felt in the
hearts of you and me.
Oh let us count our many blessings whether
they be big or small
Forgetting not that without a loving Savior
there would be no blessings at all.

Above all give thanks for the One who died
that we might live
And for the peace and joy that knowing such a
One can give.
