Dear Heavenly Father, we ask
that you give peace of mind
As again ourselves at the
year's end, we do find.
Please give to us, love and
patience to cheer some
lonely heart,
And help us from your love
to never ever part.

Sometimes we think of the future
and begin to fear,
Then we get all frustrated
and start to shed a tear,
When at all these end-time
prophecies we look
That are listed on many
pages of your dear book.

But what we need to
remember is still this,
We need only to give Jesus
our heart, so heaven we
won't miss
He is still waiting there
with arms open wide,
And invites us to enter in
and with Him to abide.

Isn't it wonderful that we
need not be alone,
As through all of this
pilgrimage we must roam?
Sometimes it gets fearful
and dark, I know,
As we tramp about in
this old world below.

But soon this old world
will surely end,
And we will see Jesus
our dearest friend
Coming with clouds of
angels bye and bye
To take His children
to His home on high.

Then we will live forever
and ever with Him
We will be free from all
tears, heartache and sin,
We can hardly imagine
all this in our mind,
We will forever be with
loved ones and happiness
truly find.
