Thoughtless Seeds
Always be careful of what you say,
Some say it's cute or smart
That little child is guided
Lord, help each of us to be
You'll have to answer, come
judgement day.
Is there any unkind seeds you
thoughtlessly sew?
For they'll surely find some
small child in which to grow.
while they are small,
But remember, for these sins
Jesus paid it all.
The seeds we plant without
even a thought,
Are just the things He says
to do not.
by what we do now,
For they always mimic us,
somehow.
So be careful and sew only
good seeds,
And ask God to help us sort
out the weeds.
better adults each day,
Give us the wisdom to lead
these little ones your way.
We want them in the new
kingdom too,
And us also, to live
eternally with you!
